Day 1 - Dancing Teapot

Dancing Teapot
For this tutorial, firstly I added a sphere object and I dived in and added a platonic object. I changed the solid type to utah teapot

After that I added a popnetwork.

Then I went to the attribute and change the initial velocity to "Add to inherited velocity" then I tried to play the animation.

To make the particles go up straight, I'll have to change to only the Y axis has 1 while the other two is 0.

However, I didn't want it to go up so straightly so I changed all the axis to 3.

So in order to form the shape of the teapot, I added in an attractor node.

Next, I went back to the popnetwork area and added a scatter & point node. Then at the point node, I changed the settings accordingly.

However, when I played the animation, the particles seems to move very fast so I went back to the popnetwork and added a "drag" node.

At the drag node, I've added two expressions.

Now when I played the animation, it will form the teapot nicely. Before that, I've also expanded the animation frames from 240 to 500.
This is because previously, with only 240 frames, the teapot doesn't have enough time to form it's shape out.

I've completed the dancing teapot tutorial and also for the module 1. I'll proceed to the module 2 next.
